Q1) What do you do to build your PLN?
Q2) What’s your favorite place or way to get UDL information?
Q3)What is your favorite place for sharing UDL information?
Q4) In today's busy world, what’s your favorite hack to keep up with your UDL information flow?
This was my first UDL chat and the first time I have really used Twitter. In the past, I have seen tweets and had an account but I never used it to build my professional learning network or connect with others in my field. It helped to have Tweet deck opened during the chat because I could follow the hashtag chat easier and keep track of replies. I had many new people follow me and I found new people to follow to find more information about UDL. The main people I started following were the ones who hosted the chat on Twitter. It gave me more access to resources and information that I wanted to follow up on. Since I was nervous using Twitter and still new to UDL, I replied only to a few people but I did like a lot of posts. It was interesting to see people all over the country join in the conversation and where they gain their information. Some of the people used more traditional methods of conferences, training, and books, while more tech-savvy people, focused on Twitter, virtual conferences, and discussion forums. The different areas of connection make me want to build my PLN by using Twitter more and joining discussions beyond UDL. I cannot wait to learn more about UDL so I have more to contribute to the chat.
