Q1. What barrier did you lower today?
Q2. How did you address variability today?
Q3: What type of learners do you want to help create?
Q4: Share a recent resource that has helped you in your UDL journey
It may have taken a while but I learned more about retweeting, commenting, and replying to others on Twitter. I felt like in this chat I was more active and engaging with other participants. I used the retweet button on the questions so I had the question in my reply. It made it easier to look back at my tweets and understand my responses. This helped me to remember who the moderator was for this chat because I like to follow them on Twitter to increase my PLN. I'm interested in all the conferences, podcasts, and other things being promoted for UDL but I find it is hard to have the time to do extra when finishing up graduate coursework, teaching, and living life. By liking some of the tweets, I will be able to go back and check them out when I have more time. It was nice to see some of the students in my graduate course comment on my responses, and we have a similar response to question four. Many people, who are part of the class, liked the book "UDL in the Cloud". I think the book makes UDL more practical for an online environment, so it is a great resource. There were other great resources that would be good to check out. Someone posted about setting up virtual meetings and another was on the "UDL in 15 minutes" podcast. It was used in one of my assignments for class, so I would like to explore it more because there was some good information on it. It helps to learn more about UDL from people who have used it in their classrooms. They know a lot of tips that will help people, like me, who are still learning about it and want to integrate it into the classroom.
